Key Stage 1 Teacher
Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time
Pay: £160-£210 per day

About the role:
This is a part-time, ongoing role for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher, starting ASAP. The position has become vacant due to the expansion of the school’s teaching team, and early applications are encouraged. You will be teaching a class of well-behaved and high-achieving students, supported by a teaching assistant in the classroom. Teachers benefit from administrative support to help with lesson planning and day-to-day tasks. The recruitment process will involve a face-to-face interview and participation in a trial day. Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge in English, Mathematics, and Science.
• Experience working with SEN students or students with EHCPs is desirable.
• Professional references from recent employers or teaching placements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with parents and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality lessons in English, Mathematics, and Science, ensuring they are engaging and meet the needs of all students in Key Stage 1.
• Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help each child achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students, including those with SEN.
• Establish strong relationships with parents, communicating regularly about student progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
• Contribute to the school’s values by promoting respect, inclusion, and excellence both inside and outside the classroom, participating in after-school activities and school events as required.
