Salary: £41,643.18 - £45,590.71 per annum (plus bonuses)

Role Overview:
As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the electrical systems of a state-of-the-art metallurgical plant. This position focuses on maintenance, fault-finding, installations, and testing within a large and well-equipped workshop. Working as part of a multi-skilled team, you will contribute to both electrical and mechanical repairs, installations, and troubleshooting while assisting with the training of junior staff.

Role Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems across industrial and office environments.
Collaborate with a multi-skilled team to deliver routine and non-routine repairs safely.
Gain hands-on experience with industrial plant equipment, including jaw crushers, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Operate workshop equipment (e.g., CNC Plasma, lathe, mill) and vehicles such as forklifts and boom lifts.
Troubleshoot industrial automation systems, interpreting basic to intermediate electrical diagrams.
Train junior maintenance staff in industrial techniques and standards.
Other duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Required Skills:
Level 3 Diploma in electrical installation, inspection, and testing certification or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in the industrial electrical field.
Strong understanding of 3-phase electrical supplies and the ability to interpret electrical diagrams.
Familiarity with risk assessments and workplace safety standards.
Right to live and work in the UK.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Desired Skills:
GCSEs in mathematics, engineering, or physics.
Experience in a multi-skilled industrial setting.
Knowledge of PLC and industrial controls.
Certification in Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent).
Experience troubleshooting PLC equipment.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary starting at £41,643.18, rising to £45,590.71 at Senior Industrial Electrician level.
Annual bonus up to £1,650.00, paid in quarterly installments.
Defined Contribution Pension: 3% employee contribution, 8% employer contribution.
26 days annual leave (increasing to 30 days with service) plus bank holidays.
Private Medical benefit, including EAP and medical charge reimbursements.
