Teaching Assistant
January July 2025, likely to continue into the following academic year.

Horizon Teachers are working with an exceptional Primary school based in Haringey, assisting in their search for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The school is easily accessible via public transport and offers outstanding facilities for their staff and pupils.

You will join an experienced and supportive team, supporting pupils across the school on a 1:1 basis and in group settings.

What do the school require from you?
  • Experience in an Early Years, Primary or Secondary setting.
  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, or a good understanding of SEND within schools.
  • Up to date knowledge of Safeguarding policies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confident and able to use your initiative.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
