Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedBookkeeperto join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and supporting the smooth operation of the company's financial processes. This role requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Invoice discount reconciliation (where applicable)
  • Salary Costings and reconciliation
  • Credit Control
  • Customer Balance Reconciliation
  • Purchase Ledger - Supplier reconciliation and payments
  • VAT reconciliation and submission
  • Accounts to trial balance
  • Possibly in house Pay Roll

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with VAT regulations and payroll processes is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
