Job Description
Job Description: Paraplanner Role Overview: Assists and supports Wealth Advisers by addressing client queries via telephone and written correspondence. Manages incoming calls efficiently, ensuring timely responses to all client inquiries. Key Responsibilities: Collaborates closely with Wealth Advisers to provide ongoing feedback to clients. Prepares and implements investment proposals. Processes new business applications, including: Capturing and quality checking applications. Following up on applications and instructions. Assists clients with completing forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FICA requirements. Manages client portfolios, including: Portfolio switches. Rebalances. Withdrawals. Investment allocations for local and offshore share portfolios. Prepares cash flow analyses and retirement planning calculations. Handles script transfers and loads fees on the IRESS system. Ensures all electronic documents are uploaded onto the internal system. Qualifications: Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning or BCom qualification. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry. RE5 qualification. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Key Competencies: Strong analytical skills.
