Job Description

Successful company based in the southern suburbs of CPT are looking for a diligent and motivated internal sales representative to join our sales team. The internal sales representative will be responsible for processing sale orders, returns, monitoring stock, as well as providing quotes and invoices to customers. They are looking for someone who is customer service-driven, detail orientated and organized. This is a fast-paced environment, with key performance indicators being service and client satisfaction. Responsibilities: Processing of sale orders timeously (Data validation/capturing) Process and manage Claims and Return of Material Authorization (RMA) Processing and managing of quotes Monitoring customer portals for new orders, claims and stock. Back-order maintenance and liaising with client. This will include stock updates, etc. Ensure order corresponds with the ranging document Ensure orders correspond with minimum order value guidelines Ensure invoices are not issued for out-of-stock products Ensure customers receive invoices via email Capture all unavailable or out of stock items Track order delivers and rejections Managing queries Provide support to the finance function in the organization Manage key operational reports and ascertain compliance with established key performance indicators Maintain customers, customer master files, and sales records up to date Schedule order extensions with replenishment department Create invoices and other customer-facing documents Communicate with relevant department buyers to prioritize certain orders or to plan opening orders for new stores or to assist with delivery date extensions Customer and sales support - pricing, stock holding, deliveries lead times, claims, returns, queries, MOVs, MOQs, rounding profile Provide support to Sales Manager, Key Accounts and other Sales Representatives Attributes Ability to work under pressure without supervision Driven and self-motivated Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Problem solver Good IT skills in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel Requirements: Matric 5 years experience in Wholesale Internal Sales Previous experience in a related sales position, retail or wholesale experience is strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask Excellent phone and cold calling skills Exceptional customer service skills Strong listening and sales skills Ability to achieve targets Team player
