About The Role
Menna House is a It is a 5-bed residental home and a former farmhouse situated in a quiet rural location near the village of Grampound Road which lies just off the main road between the ancient mining town of St Austell and Truro. At Menna House we don't just provide care for the people we support, we help them to achieve their goals and aspirations while living their best lives. We’re looking for new work-family members to help the individuals we support fulfil their dreams and help them thrive in all they want to do. The individuals we support enjoy many activities such as visiting the local harbour and shipwreck museum.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You'll be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Individual Outcome and Wellbeing: Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.
Activity Planning: Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.
Health and Lifestyle: Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs.
Communication: Facilitate effective communication and maintain detailed, person-centered records.
