Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Manager who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, knock on doors, and build relationships from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a hunger for success, strong sales instincts, and the ability to generate new business opportunities. This role requires someone who excels in a target-driven environment, loves the challenge of prospecting, and has the determination to close deals and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively identify, prospect, and generate leads through cold calling, door-to-door sales, networking, and other outbound strategies.
Sales & Negotiation: Build relationships with potential clients, presenting our recycling services and tailoring solutions to their needs. Close deals and negotiate contracts to secure long-term partnerships.
Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities within the assigned territory or industry and develop strategies to penetrate those markets.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at businesses, local organizations, and municipalities.
Customer Retention: Ensure excellent customer service and follow-up after initial sales to build long-term, loyal partnerships.
Reporting & Strategy: Regularly report on sales metrics, opportunities, and market trends to senior leadership, and contribute to developing sales strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and to deliver the best recycling solutions. Qualifications:

Proven experience in business development, sales, or similar roles, ideally in the environmental, waste management, or recycling industry.
Strong ability to generate leads and cold call potential clients.
A hungry, results-driven mentality with a strong desire to exceed targets and goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people at all levels.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience in negotiating contracts and managing a sales pipeline.
Knowledge of recycling services and sustainability solutions is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory. What We Offer:
