The company is seeking a skilled Financial Officer to join its team. Role Overview The Financial Officer is responsible for: Daily balancing and reconciliation of all transactions processed via various systems as part of financial administration. Ensuring 100% accuracy in balancing and reconciliation, covering all processed transactions. Taking immediate corrective action for any reconciliation or balancing discrepancies. The Requirements Skills and Experience Extensive experience (5 years): Bank and cashbook reconciliations. EFT transactions and reconciliations. Interbank ATM (SASWITCH) and POS (Debit Switch) processing. Realtime Clearing processes. Thorough understanding: Visa, MasterCard, and other Card Associations. BankServ Africa rules and guidelines. Service Level Agreements for financial institutions. Advantageous experience: Card switching and payments processing. Interbank-related card switching and payment services. Back office and reconciliation experience. Dispute Management Systems. General banking knowledge. Additional capabilities: General balancing and reconciliation functions. Bank settlement reconciliations. Qualifications Required: Matric or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Department of Higher Education and Training. Preferred: BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
