Job Description
Job Description: As the Financial Manager, your duties and responsibilities include the following: Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements Produce reports that provide valuable insights to the companys financial health and performance Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely completion Analyse variances between budgeted and actual figures Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain financial stability and liquidity Enhance performance in key areas, including inventory management, AP and cash collections Manage and foster relationships with banking partners Plan and coordinate external audits, ensuring audit readiness at all times Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance and submissions Lead and support the finance team Foster high performance and effective collaboration Review and approve team outputs, including debtors, creditors and other financial processes Supervise daily finance operations, providing leadership and guidance Recommend and implement process improvements Enhance efficiency and accuracy in finance operations Offer financial support to other departments as needed Work with ERP systems and other financial tools to streamline reporting and analysis Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of experience within a financial management position Advanced Excel skills Proficiency in ERP systems Proven experience working on Syspro would be highly advantageous Qualification: Completed Bcom degree Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
