Mechanical Draughtsman

Requirements Must have a formal technical qualification preferably an artisan. (All other qualifications will be considered.) Must have practical working experience as an artisan or similar. Must have a formal draughting qualification. Must be proficient in Solidworks 3-5 yrs. experience other packages will be a benefit. Must be able to do advanced assembly design for 500 parts or more. FEA and Simulation will be an advantage. Sheet metal design is a must. Must be able to optimize designs within Solidworks. Must be able to generate a bill of materials within Solidworks. Must be able to generate 2D drawings for GA, fabrication and manufacturing in Solidworks. Must have a valid drivers licence. Project experience will be beneficial must be able to do it from start to finish Microsoft Office experience General Duties Liaise with customers. Drawing revisions and design reviews. Managing other staff. Timing plans and deadline management. Development. Fabrication drawings and revision control. On site measurements
