Job Description
REQUIREMENTS Matric, relevant qualification advantageous Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing and production management role Understanding of procurement and production processes Proficient in Microsoft Excel Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet tight deadlines Strong leadership and team management skills Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred DUTIES Raise Purchase Orders & place orders with Suppliers Follow up with suppliers Build good relationships with suppliers Capture Supplier Invoices on accounting system Reconcile supplier statements at the end of the month Where there are discrepancies, communicate with supplier and resolve. Load supplier payments at the end of the month. Load ad hoc supplier payments throughout the month. Source new suppliers from time to time and when required & compare purchase prices / quotes from more than one supplier and determine best options Check bank transactions daily and capture into our Accounting system Match customer payments to Sales Invoices Match supplier payments to Supplier Invoices. Reconcile bank account on a monthly basis. Capture & process Petty Cash transactions Reconcile Petty Cash on a monthly basis Capture & process Netcash transaction Reconcile Netcash on a monthly basis Monthly staff welfare shop Keep track of absentees daily Contact suppliers and get quotes for new projects or factory issues when needed Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
