Key Responsibilities:
- Developed and maintained automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Python.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify test scenarios and design appropriate test cases.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure accurate and reliable software functionality.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools as needed.
- Identify and report software defects and work with development teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and new testing tools to improve test automation efficiency continuously.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Python for scripting and test automation.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, PyTest).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Appium).
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web services (RESTful APIs).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing.
