IT QA Engineer

The Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) is responsible for implementing automated testing strategies to ensure application quality prior to release. Key duties include developing and executing automated test scripts, identifying and analyzing defects during testing, and documenting them for review. The QAE will create and execute both manual and automated tests, report results, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Additional responsibilities include owning the end-to-end testing process, conducting backend database testing in SQL environments, participating in SDLC activities, and identifying areas of value for automation. This role requires a strong understanding of QA methodologies, hands-on experience with testing tools and automation frameworks, and the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in IT system or software testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Telerik Test Studio, Cucumber, or Fitness.
• Preferred familiarity with scripting languages like Python or JavaScript and test automation tools.
• Knowledge of database management, network concepts, and IT infrastructure.
