Springfield is the largest city in western New England, and the urban, economic, and media capital of Massachusetts' section of the Connecticut River Valley–colloquially known as the Pioneer Valley. From the Basketball Hall of Fame to the Amazing World of Dr. Seuss and the Titanic Museum, Springfield has much to offer. Other notable attractions include The Springfield Armory National History Site, the site of General George Washington’s biggest arsenal, and The Big E, a multi-state fair hosting the six states of New England. It’s one of the largest fairs in the US and the biggest on the east coast. Springfield is about three hours from New York City, 90 minutes from Boston and roughly 30 minutes from Hartford, Connecticut.
Mercy Medical Center is proud to offer state-of-the-art labor and delivery services. The labor and delivery team includes board-certified obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, obstetrical nurses, lactation consultants, in-house anesthesiologists and neonatologists/pediatricians available 24/7. Mercy Medical Center also has a Level III NICU. Mercy Medical Center currently performs approximately 860 annual deliveries.

- 1.Drive Quality & Safety for OB Service line.
- 2. Have a consistent high functioning OB Hospitalist Team.
- 3. Help support community practices allowing them to support patient needs.
