ECR QA/QC Manager

Job Title: ECR QA/QC Manager Location: Netherlands Salary: To be discussed in the Interview Vacancy Type: Full-Time Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required: Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of ECR Systems: Familiarity with Engineering Change Request processes and systems, and the ability to manage change control and documentation. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to assess and resolve quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions effectively. Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands. Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken). Beneficial requirements: Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present complex quality data clearly. Education and Certifications: A bachelors degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Certifications in QA/QC (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are a plus. Duties and responsibilities: This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in managing quality systems, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Quality Assurance and Control Oversight: Lead and manage the QA/QC processes within the ECR system to ensure that all engineering changes meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing quality control processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all ECR documentation is complete, accurate, and properly stored, adhering to both internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, procurement, and production teams to monitor and ensure that ECR-related changes are executed effectively and meet quality standards. Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to internal teams on QA/QC processes, best practices, and compliance requirements related to ECR.
