Mechanical/Mechatronic Test Technician

Key responsibilities / main job duties: Design and Analysis: - Utilize CAD software (Siemens NX) to create 3D models and 2D drawings. - Collaborate with other engineers to ensure design integrity and compliance with industry standards. System Integration: - Understand the integration of mechanical, electrical, and software systems within the powerplant. - Assist in the development of system tests. - Support the troubleshooting and resolution of system integration issues. - Manage the data acquisition system for the engine facility and flight platform. Manufacturing and Production: - Understand manufacturing processes and tolerances. - Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design manufacturability. - Support the development of manufacturing documentation and work instructions. System Oversight: - Support the engineering team in maintaining system configuration during development and the introduction of new powerplant options. - Collaborate with the design and integration teams to ensure system integrity and performance. Candidate requirements: - 2-3 years of industry experience, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry. - Experience with power plants, thermodynamics, or propulsion systems is advantageous. - Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Siemens NX. - Understanding of mechanical design principles and testing techniques. - Experience with data analysis and programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB). - Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tolerances. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work independently and take initiative. Qualification and/or professional license(s) - B-Tech in Mechanical Discipline or higher Years of experience needed - 2-3
