Senior Aircraft Stress Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aircraft Stress Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge aircraft design and ensure the structural integrity and safety of our products. You will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and certification of aerospace components and systems. Key Responsibilities: Perform static, fatigue, and dynamic stress analysis on aircraft structures and components. Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations. Work closely with the design, manufacturing, and certification teams to resolve structural issues. Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical direction and support. Develop and implement best practices for structural analysis. Ensure that all analyses are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety standards. Provide technical reports and presentations to both internal stakeholders and customers. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience (5 years) in aircraft stress analysis, particularly on civil or military aircraft. Proficiency in stress analysis tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or similar. Extensive experience with FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis and hand calculations. Solid understanding of aerospace standards, including FAA/EASA certification processes. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with composites and metallic materials in aerospace applications is a plus.
