Job Description

Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Marketing of building materials Management of existing client base, whilst focusing on developing new clients relationships Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth and identify new business Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts Manage contract negotiations, renewals, pricing discussions in collaboration with the sales team Key requirements include: Minimum of a Grade 12 certificate Well-developed communication skills, verbal and written, in English and Afrikaans Proven experience within a retail building industry context Strong accountability and passionate about customer service Computer literacy Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, extract insights, make data-driven decisions Exceptional organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar context a non-negotiable requirement (building materials/hardware) as a strong industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics is essential Sound sales and account management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets Already established network/client base Clean drivers license Kindly note that by submitting your application for this career opportunity you agree that Guardian Recruiting may use your application for the purpose of the recruitment and selection of the said position and this information may be shared with the relevant stakeholders in the business.
