Field Officer (Animal Shelter) - George

Our client (Animal Shelter) based in George is looking to appoint a Field Officer to join their team. If you have a love for animals and are dedicated to their welfare, this is the opportunity for you Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Respond to animal rescues, emergencies, and cruelty calls Educate the community on animal care, handling, and sterilisation Perform inspections and document animal welfare concerns Assist in the collection of sick, injured, and unwanted animals Take photos for investigations and follow-up inspections Work closely with inspectors and promote animal welfare across businesses Requirements: Registered as an Animal Welfare Assistant Qualified Field Officer with at least 1 year of experience Valid Code 8 driver’s licence SAPS clearance certificate Passion for animal welfare and good animal handling skills Excellent communication and administrative skills Ability to work after hours and under pressure
