Job Description

Overview: Our client in the automotive industry is looking to employ a Production Systems Trainer to support the Plant Manager in implementing, maintaining and achieving objectives in the plant. Minimum Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering; or equivalent 3 years of professional experience in an Automotive environment Familiar with production methods Profound knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts Strong analytical, Coaching, and problem-solving skills Experienced moderator and teambuilding know-how Intercultural competencies Duties & Responsibilities: Guarantee that the production schedule is fully understood and communicated within the plant Communicate production schedule expectations and targets of the production line towards the plant and request & bundle feedback from the plant towards the Regional Production Systems Coordinator Analyze logistics and production processes and indicators and provide recommendations for improvement Initiate and realize changes in cooperation with the plant/department managers to improve training, processes, material flows, and labor utilization Assure that exclusively harmonized Production Systems methods and tools are applied within the plant to implement Production Systems Train plant management, Production Systems trainers, and plant staff in Production Systems methods according to the Production Systems method box, e.g. Shopfloor Management, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, elimination of waste and Standardized Work Procedures Support Lean Evaluation / Assessment to monitor the improvement progress within the plant Prepare internal Production Systems reports periodically and as requested Guarantee compliance with company policies and procedures
