Job Description

As Project Engineer/Advanced Work Package Engineer, you will join our Department of Project Management, in the business line Energy Carriers, conducting the following activities: Coordinates the preparation of reporting for specific activities of the project execution as defined, case by case, by the PM. Assists the Project Manager during project planning, e.g. preparation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and other project procedures and plans. Assists in the allocation of resources and in the assessment of the man-hours required in order to prepare/update the Project Mobilization Plan (PMP). Coordinates specific activities (internal or external to the project), related but not limited to project management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, at home office or at site. Prepares the Project External Interfaces Management Procedure and identifies, categorizes, and manages the Project External Interfaces. Prepares the Project Risk Management Plan, manages the risk assessment and risk response activities, issuing and quarterly updating the Project Risk Register. Prepares the Vendor Assistance on Site Procedure, manages the Project Vendor Assistance on site from the notification of Vendor intervention until the completion of the Vendor services, monitoring costs, reviewing the schedule of the interventions, reporting periodically on the status and criticalities of the activities. Prepares the Project Guarantee Claims Management Procedure with Vendors and – during the guarantee period - ensures the fulfilment of the guarantee requirements by Vendor. Prepares the Project Guarantee Claims Management Procedure with Client and – during the guarantee period - manages the process of notification, reparation and closure of any issues on guarantees raised by Client. Prepares the Project Back Charge Procedure and supports the management of the back charges work process. Assists in managing change orders and claims, and supports dispute resolution activities. Supports the continuous monitoring of specific critical supplies contributing to the achievement of expected milestones and the resolution of technical and contractual issues. QUALIFICATION: Degree in Engineering Science. Professional qualification/Chartership is a plus, such as PMP, CIOB, etc. certification. KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE: B2/C1. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 4/5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects. Knowledge of AWP (Advanced Work Package) is highly preferred. SOFT SKILLS: Excellent communication and team-working skills; Proven background of resourcefulness under pressure. NICE TO HAVE: Experience in large scale projects; Experience with Majors Clients; Exposure to different roles within the oil and gas/new energies/floaters projects in fields as design management, planning, contract management, and/or cost management is a plus; Record of working within global large teams in multi-disciplinary projects is highly preferred.
