Senior Android Engineer - Java/Kotlin

Must have Skills : Android SDK ,Android UI design,Kotlin or Java,Understanding of Code versioning tools - as Git, Familiarity with cloud message APIs, RESTful APIs and Push notifications Java / Kotlin, Product based company exposure is a must Responsibilities : - Work with some cross-functional stakeholders including designers, analysts, product managers and engineers to understand product requirements and roadmaps. - Participate in design discussions and coding reviews. - Implement good engineering practices including contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. - Iterate quickly while shipping high-quality product features with an eye on quality and reliability. - Contribute to the professional development of colleagues, improving their technical knowledge and the engineering practices on your team. - Platform specific development and debugging tools. - Implementing new features and optimizing existing ones. Requirements : - 4 years of experience developing, releasing, and maintaining Android Applications (point us to your apps on Google Play). - Good to have knowledge on Google Mobile Ads SDK, InMobi Ads, Facebook Ads etc. - Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. - Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks. - Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines. Deep understanding of the Android SDK. - Familiarity with Kotlin or Java. - Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. - Experience in using video players, video streaming, analytics, location and social APIs, payment gateways. - Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. - Computer Science fundamentals in data structures algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis and object oriented design. - Excel at user-centric product development. - You care about engineering excellence and performance. - Familiar with the tools of the trade and you're comfortable digging into the nitty-gritty. - Experience with mentoring and team building. - Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. - Have published at least one original Android app. - A knack for benchmarking and optimization. - Crazy stories about supporting multiple Android devices.
