DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities : Release Management : - Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases across development, staging, and production environments. - Define release schedules, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery. CI/CD Pipeline Management : - Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient build, test, and deployment processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in build and deployment pipelines. Collaboration and Communication : - Act as the liaison between development, QA, and operations teams to ensure alignment on release goals. - Provide clear and timely updates on release statuses, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders. Automation and Scripting : - Create and maintain automation scripts for deployment and monitoring processes. - Continuously improve deployment workflows to reduce manual interventions. Monitoring and Rollbacks : - Monitor post-release performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. - Implement rollback strategies and disaster recovery mechanisms for failed releases. Documentation and Compliance : - Maintain detailed documentation for release processes, configurations, and system changes. - Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements during the release lifecycle. Required Qualifications : Educational Background : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical Skills : - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps). - Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket). - Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy). - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience : - 3 years of experience in release management, DevOps, or related roles. - Proven experience in deploying and managing production-grade systems.
