SAP ABAP/HANA Consultant

We are seeking experienced SAP ABAP HANA consultants for our Hyderabad and Pune locations. The ideal candidate will have 4-12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development with expertise in HANA technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP applications, ensuring seamless integration and performance within the SAP landscape. Key Responsibilities : ABAP Development : - Design and develop custom SAP solutions using ABAP on HANA. - Enhance and optimize existing ABAP programs to leverage HANA capabilities. - Develop CDS views, AMDPs, and other HANA-native artifacts for improved performance and functionality. HANA Integration & Optimization : - Work on SAP HANA modeling, including calculation views, analytical views, and attribute views. - Collaborate with the Basis team to manage HANA database and application performance. - Implement best practices for ABAP code optimization and database performance tuning in HANA environments. Custom Solutions & Enhancements : - Develop and maintain custom objects, interfaces, and workflows. - Work on enhancements, user exits, BADI implementations, and SAP Notes application. - Integrate third-party tools and systems with SAP using APIs and OData services. Collaboration & Troubleshooting : - Work closely with functional teams to gather and understand business requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAP ABAP and HANA-related developments. - Conduct root cause analysis and provide timely resolutions for production issues. Documentation & Training : - Prepare detailed technical specifications, test plans, and user guides. - Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to junior team members and peers. Required Skills and Qualifications : Experience : 4-12 years of SAP ABAP development experience, including 2 years with SAP HANA. Technical Skills : - Strong expertise in ABAP programming (Reports, ALV, Module Pool, BDC, RFCs, BAPIs, and Smart Forms). - Advanced knowledge of HANA artifacts such as CDS views, AMDPs, and performance tuning. - Experience with OData services, SAP Fiori integration, and SAP Gateway. - Hands-on experience in debugging and performance optimization for SAP systems. Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
