Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items, ensuring adherence to standardized recipes and safety guidelines. Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and properly disposing of waste. Inventory Management: Help receive and organize inventory, ensuring all supplies are stocked and stored correctly to support kitchen operations. Equipment Maintenance: Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs to management. Compliance with Safety Standards: Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures and maintaining a safe workspace. Requirements: Education: Matric Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or fast food environment is advantageous, Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for inventory management and food preparation. Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
