Job Description

Role Purpose: Ensure that the whole operations function is run smoothly in Mozambique. Experience & Qualification Criteria Degree in Logistics, Management, Supply Chain or related. 5-7 years experience in a similar role. Excellent communication and computer skills as well as strong leadership is required. Primary Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Manage transportation routes, inventory control, and warehouse activities. Lead and supervise logistics teams, ensuring high performance and safety compliance. Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and other departments to maintain smooth operations. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive process enhancements. Manage budgets and control costs associated with logistics and transportation. Troubleshoot and resolve logistical challenges in real-time. Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance and provide actionable insights for management.
