Agronomy Area Manager - Seed

Minimum requirements for the role: Must have an Honours/Masters degree in Agronomy\ Soil Science \ Plant Production Minimum 5 years relevant Agronomy experience Knowledge of compilation of fertilizer programs is essential Knowledge and experience of onions is advantageous Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans, with good interpersonal and communication skills The successful candidate will be responsible for: Preparing and coordinating varietal screening trials in multiple crops, including but not exclusively onions. Handling complaints and supplying support and feedback to the Sales team in this regard. Providing weekly feedback to the Managing Director. Coordinating and providing product training. Presenting and assisting at farmers' days and agricultural expos. Interpreting data from various trials. Writing articles for newsletters, magazines, and marketing materials. Visiting farmers with the Production Advisors. Managing and evaluating commercial trials. Offering technical support to Production Advisors, Area Managers, and Farmers.
