Senior DevOps (Linux Systems Core Administrator)

Qualifications: 4-7 years in Linux systems administration and DevOps. Strong expertise in system architecture, automation, and security. Relevant IT degree or diploma (BTech, BSc); RHCSA/RHCE certification preferred. Required Skills: SOLID Unix/Linux Background Linux & Systems Admin: clustering (Pacemaker), scripting (Bash, Python). DevOps & Automation: CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), IaC (Terraform, Puppet). Monitoring & Visualization: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, ELK. Networking & Security: Firewalls (iptables, HAProxy), IPv4, routing protocols. Storage & Databases: NFS, Ceph, MySQL, MariaDB. Additional Tech: Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization (KVM, VMware), VoIP (Asterisk). RHCSA/RHCE Certification is beneficial but not mandatory Responsibilities: Architect, deploy, and automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes. Monitor and optimize system performance with Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios. Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, ensuring uptime and stability. Integrate proprietary solutions, support CI/CD pipelines, and manage containerized environments. Enhance system security, conduct audits, and apply best practices. Mentor junior team members and collaborate across teams to implement SysOps and DevOps improvements. This is a dynamic role for a proactive problem solver passionate about innovation and operational excellence. Adherence to core ECN working hours is required, with occasional after-hours or weekend work based on system needs. Stand-by duties may also be assigned as necessary.
