Employer Description A bush lodge located in the Hoespruit area Job Description Join Our Team as a Second-in-Command to Head Chef Our client, located in the beautiful Hoedspruit area, is looking for a talented and experienced Second-in-Command Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership and management skills to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Head Chef to set and execute menus with precision and creativity. Manage kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring smooth operation during shifts. Oversee stock taking and inventory management, ensuring proper levels of ingredients are maintained. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen, delivering consistent quality in every dish. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment. Passion for culinary excellence and creativity.
