Reporting to: Maintenance Foreman Main Objective: To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site. Key Responsibilities: Day to day maintaining of plant. Fault Finding On the job training Plant and system upgrades / Project management. System maintenance Rapid response to break downs Audits (food safety, health & safety, and stock control) Skills and Attributes Required: Ability to function in a team. Good communication skills Ability to work under pressure. Be self-motivated. Equipment knowledge Accuracy / Attention to detail Numerical ability Innovation/ continuous improvement Accountability Sense of urgency Experience: 3-5 years Millwright experience Qualifications: Matric Relevant Trade qualification Registered Millwright (Dept. of Labour) (Red Seal) Other Requirements: Working in a factory environment hot and noisy Required to work 6 days, overtime, unusual working hours (after hours, weekends and public holidays) and perform standby and call out duties
