Job Description
About the role Responsible for all financial administration, accounting, and managing Sage Accounting. Responsible for assisting customers with inquiries, account information, processing applications, and any other duties to meet business objectives. Prepares reports and assists in correspondence and letter writing as required. Completes accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities Plan and manage order schedule according to stock availability. Receiving and processing of orders. Planning customer forecasts. Ensuring customers receive orders on time. Creating Purchase Orders for Suppliers and receipting them correctly. Ensure proper paperwork and PO numbers are provided for drivers and customers to sign off during delivery of orders. Receive incoming products from suppliers, and verify documents and COAs against product received. Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies. Invoicing of orders to customers with the correct Delivery Notes. Receipting stock and doing stock take once a month. Processing and managing Customer and Supplier credit applications. Compiling a list of Supplier payments by the 15 of each month. Supplier payment allocations. Customer payment allocations. Sending out statements on the 30th of every month or the last day of the month. Statement Recons. Electronic Filing of all documents, Invoices, Purchase Orders, and deliveries. Notes, Weighbridge certificates, COAs, and Customer Statements. Requirements Diploma in Accounting. South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34. Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
