Technical Manager - System Implementation

Job Description : Our client is one of the leading private sector Life Insurance Company. It is listed on National stock exchange (NSE) and Bombay stock exchange (BSE). Designation : Manager/Sr. Manager Location : Mumbai Key Accountability : - Provide solutions in a cross-functional environment/team (Operations, Sales, Service Touch points, Advisors, Partners, and various internal stakeholders Technically as well as process-wise - Leading and coordinating amongst team of Software Development Life Cycle especially incentive management systems (distribution channel onboarding, commission, reward, payment) management tool/software. - Knowledge of AS400 technology Life & Group Asia will be an additional advantage - Effectively manage functional understanding and need across all deliveries and among all internal and external stakeholders - Ensure robust and scalable applications by compliance with functional / technical principles & standards. - Should be aware of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process. - Should have worked with project management team as subject matter expert, coordinating with various teams involved in Software Development Life Cycle) - Taking initiatives other than Business as usual (BAU) processes from Process and System perspective Educational Qualification : - Computer Engineering Graduate - Certifications (will be an added advantage) - PMP - LOMA / Licentiate/ Associate / Fellow (Insurance institute of India) Competencies (Knowledge & Skills) : - Minimum 2 years' experience in handling commission/rewards (incentive) application in life/group insurance sector - Experience of database management like oracle, DB2. - Proficiency in SQL scripting. - Experience in managing life insurance policy admin systems like Life Asia and Group Asia will be an added advantage. - Understanding of incentive management systems and insurance core applications functional / development / testing principles - Analytical skills - Extremely Positive attitude towards work, result-orientation - Excellent business communications skills and team management - Ability to take decisions singularly for the benefit of the Process & System - Vendor Management (ref:hirist.tech)
