Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the timely and consistent preparation of high-quality dishes. Oversee and guide junior kitchen staff, providing training, support, and feedback to help them develop their skills. Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to create new menu items and specials. Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Manage stock levels, order supplies, and monitor ingredient quality to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Ensure the smooth operation of your section during service, maintaining high standards under pressure. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a professional kitchen, preferably in fine dining or high-end restaurants. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of modern cooking techniques. Experience managing a kitchen section and leading a small team. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Passion for delivering outstanding food and creating memorable dining experiences. In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
