Key Responsibilities: BIM Modeling & Coordination : Develop detailed 3D models using software such as Revit and Navisworks. Design Development : Translate project requirements into precise design models while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaboration : Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate design solutions into the overall project framework. Project Documentation : Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and material take-offs. Technical Expertise : Oversee clash detection processes and coordinate with various stakeholders to resolve conflicts. Team Leadership : Mentor junior modellers and provide guidance to enhance their technical skills. Innovation : Proactively suggest improvements in BIM workflows and explore emerging technologies to optimize project outcomes. Requirements: National Diploma/ Bachelors degree in Architectural technology, Structural Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of experience in BIM modeling and design. Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. Strong understanding of architectural and structural modeling. Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks within tight deadlines. Effective communication skills and experience in stakeholder engagement.
