Make your move, Join us We are looking for a Calibration Engineer for Quick Shift and Automated Manual Transmission Systems to join our team and support an important Client, he/she will work with the Engine Management team and will perform and/or manage the following activities: Calibrate the SW that governs the operation of the Quick shift system and of an AMT system in order to guarantee gear shift comfort, gear shift speed, reliability of the gearbox/engine Participate in the drafting of the SW specifications to improve the operation of the QS and AMT systems Evaluate the status of the QS and AMT system tuning through test sessions on the track Collaborate with the ECU calibrator for the tuning of the QS system in those models without an AMT system Support / participate in the tuning activities at the engine bench, roller dynos, independently managing the vehicle setup and the preparation of the tests Analyze and compare data from road/track, roller bench and/or engine test bench Apply automation/optimization tools for calibrations with specific tools (MATLAB) Export and process the calibration data by providing graphic representation Draw up test reports Interact with the technicians of the ECU and TCU suppliers to solve problems related to the QS and AMT SW Interact with the application manager by agreeing on the approach to the functions and making available the specific packages developed to be included in the calibration Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering At least 3 years of experience in the calibration of QS and/or AMT systems in gasoline applications A3 driving license and be an expert motorcyclist Good knowledge of the English and Italian language Knowledge of engine application software (INCA) and software for tool generation (Matlab) Modeling of results and post-processing of test data (MATLAB and AVL Concerto) Knowledge of ETAS systems and their configuration. Knowledge of Vitesco and Bosch engine control systems is a preferential qualification Knowledge of automotive electronic components, interactions on the calibration of individual components and understanding of phenomena associated with their failure Good interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making and result-oriented skills Availability for frequent business trips Additional Information At SEGULA Technologies, diversity, fairness and inclusion are at the heart of our HR policy.
