We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead the Java development teams of a well-established German FinTech company. Your Responsibilities:

As Head of Engineering, you will:

• Shape Technical Strategy: Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Deliver Scalable Solutions: Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure platforms to support business growth.
• Foster Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
• Enhance Efficiency: Champion engineering best practices, including agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipelines, to optimize performance and processes.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience in leading engineering teams within Java-focused environments.
• Expertise in modern Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable and secure architectures.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on team development.
• Exceptional communication skills; fluency in English is required, German is a strong advantage.
• Experience in FinTech or regulated industries is a plus but not mandatory.
