Our company is seeking Warehouse Supervisor for our Charlotte, NC distribution center that will plan, organize, and monitor the picking, quality, auditing staging and loading of all outbound deliveries. Ensuring a smooth and consistent operation, materials are distributed to customers in an effective and efficient way as needed to satisfy clients’ requirements. Supervises the Warehouse Leads & Associates to ensure quality oriented process flow and time management initiatives.

Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Creates an environment that drives positive employee relations, teamwork, and company pride.
  • Maintain warehousing and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Ensures all employees are effectively trained and conducts retraining & cross-training to enhance employee development.
  • Evaluate employee performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes to instill a continuous improvement culture.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Ensure all operations follow OSHA, and Company safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Supervisor Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution supervisor leadership position.
  • At least 2 years of prior warehouse or distribution experience required.
  • Process improvement & SOP development experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
  • Background in trucking - a plus.
  • Experience using measurement tools required.
  • Computer proficiency required.
