About The Position


Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PT, Monday to Friday

Location: Carlsbad, CA


Position Summary


The Logistics Specialist III is responsible for a range of packaging, shipping, receiving, and inventory control duties. The Logistics Specialist III will work within the scope of responsibilities as dictated below with guidance and support from our Operations leadership team.


Essential Functions

  • Order Packing & Shipping: Obtains ship slips & fills orders.
  • Receives & organizes product supplies shipped to patient by meter type.
  • Accurately verifies order before releasing shipment.
  • Ensures timely & accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of materials, including physical count and documentation records, such as shipping and receiving records.
  • Ensures security and quantity of physical inventory.
  • Follows returns & disposal of supplies &/or equipment in accordance with company policy & regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensures the environmental safety of materials stored and handled.
  • Ensures the safe operation of all equipment, including fork lift, pallet jacks, ladders, safety equipment, pallet wrapping tools and hand tools.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety rules and/or regulations; demonstrates commitment to maintain a safe warehouse/work environment.
  • Ensures the safe storage of materials, including consideration of weight and stability of the packing on pallets.
  • Mentors new hires; assists management with motivating and coaching employees to succeed.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of all products and services offered by the company.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed notes in the company system.
  • Adapts quickly to frequent process changes and improvements.
  • Is reliable, engaged, and provides feedback to improve processes and policies.
  • Attends all department, team, and company meetings as required.
  • Appropriately routes incoming calls when necessary.

Other Responsibilities

  • May perform any additional responsibilities or special projects as required.
  • Duties and responsibilities may be subject to change based upon the needs of the department.
  • May provide cross-functional support as business needs demand.


Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in basic math and business calculations
  • Working knowledge of computer/data entry with the ability to learn new systems
  • Basic level of MS Office proficiency
  • 2+ years' experience with warehouse operations or other related shipping/receiving work
  • Full knowledge of all areas of warehouse/shipping specialization

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position most of the time (stand or sit). While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

  • Candidates must successfully pass a background and credit check.
  • Candidates must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States without support; sponsorship is not available.

Compensation Package


Pay ranges may vary depending on location. The general hourly range for this position is $20 - $21 per hour. Actual compensation depends on education, experience, and relevant skills. In addition, benefits include:
