Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA. You will focus on improving the quality of iOS/macOS features for millions of customers.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $61/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Software Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and enhance iOS/macOS applications to improve functionality and user experience.
• Focus on improving the quality and performance of shipping iOS/macOS features, ensuring they meet customer expectations.
• Troubleshoot, identify and resolve bugs and software defects to maintain application stability.
• Optimize code for performance, efficiency, and scalability, ensuring smooth operation across devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and integrate solutions.
• Utilize Xcode, Instruments, and XCTest framework for debugging and testing to resolve performance issues.
• Document design, code, and testing processes to ensure clarity and consistency for future development.
• Stay up to date with the latest iOS/macOS development trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in iOS/macOS software development.
• Strong proficiency in Objective-C and Swift, with experience using UIKit, Foundation, and Xcode.
• Experience with debugging tools such as Instruments and XCTest framework to optimize performance and resolve issues.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $61.00 per hour
