IT Portfolio Manager (Senior)

Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC, a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients, is seeking full-time Senior IT Portfolio Management. This is an exempt position in support of government customer located in Bethesda, MD. Some remote flexibility at customer's discretion.

Experience Required

• Lead projects and drive activities for multiple portfolios and projects of varying size and complexity


• IT Process and procedures documentation and Technical Writing expertise


• Expert knowledge of federal policies for Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), including Technology Business Management (TBM) and EPLC requirements


• Ability to understand requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solution


• Ability to maintain professionalism and react to customers appropriately, while exhibiting the highest level of customer service


• Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced development process


• Expert client management and communication skills with the ability to resolve high visibility issues


• Perform Critical Path Analysis (CPA) and actively update the IMS as established in the projects Baseline Control documentation, utilize the IMS to support EVM efforts, perform "What-if" analysis, and report on the best corrective action needed to keep projects on schedule


• Ability to develop, document, and ensure adherence to technical standards


• Expert documentation, presentation, and communication skills with working teams and senior level management,


• Reviews work for accuracy and clarity and is able to write effectively and clearly


• Ability to multitask


• Ability to track and execute on-going compliance obligations


• Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with team members and management


• Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks


• Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders


• Process driven analysis skills and a background in various requirements elicitation methods


• Commitment to responsiveness and achieving tasks on deadline

Qualifications Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust background clearance


• Bachelor's degree in a technology related field


• 8+ years of related experience in technology strategy and portfolio management


• Agile Development practices

• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook


• Experience with budgeting and estimation for future program requirements


• Quality Certification (ITIL, or other)
