Essential Job Functions (Primary duties and responsibilities):
- Responsible for the ongoing operation, support, maintenance, and upgrade of Dynamics AX and other corporate business applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated helpdesk support requests in a timely manner.
- Work with departments and IT management to define requirements for applications supporting Dynamics AX through written functional and technical specifications for applications.
- Implement, design, develop, and test new software applications, extensions to packages and web- based functions and services, provide on-going support for these applications.
- Develop and support interfaces between business systems internal to Dynamics AX and external partners.
- Design, configure, and implement new software packages, and provide on-going support for these packages.
- Establish and implement development and support standards and guidelines.

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the development and/or support of software systems required, including multi-tiered client/server applications and web-based applications.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience designing and using relational databases, including Microsoft SQL server
- Experience with Microsoft Development tools, including Visual Studio .Net and .Net framework
- Experience developing windows and web-based applications
- Background in a manufacturing and distribution environments
- Experience with Dynamics AX 2012 R3
- Work involves medium physical exertion that could involve carrying or moving materials and equipment weighing up to 51 lbs.
- Intermittent manual labor that includes bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Squat and kneel to access materials and equipment in tight or enclosed spaces. Occasionally crawl to access equipment.
- View a computer monitor and type for extended periods of time.
- Talk on phone or use headset for extended periods of time.
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Stand and walk intermittently.
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers.
- Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer monitor; and/or extensive reading.
- Communicate with others to exchange information.
- When travel is required, visual acuity to operate motor vehicle in daytime and nighttime.
- Typically works in an office environment where there is no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
- Worker occasionally accomplishes tasks in manufacturing, warehouse, and/or supporting areas where there is exposure to vibrations and moderate-to-loud noises. When in these areas, worker must be aware of and exercise caution around hazardous conditions such as electricity, moving equipment, moving parts, refrigerants, chemicals, torches, solvents, dust, dirt, fumes, and contaminants.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required of job when worker is in the manufacturing, warehouse, and/or supporting areas. PPE includes but is not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety toed footwear.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the development and/or support of software systems required, including multi-tiered client/server applications, web-based and cloud-based applications.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience designing and using relational databases, including Microsoft SQL server
- Proven skills/training using business analysis tools and methodologies to support business process improvement and application lifecycle management.
- Experience in ERP and Data Analytics implementation, configuration and support. - (One or more of the following Microsoft AX2009, AX2019, Dynamics 365 F&O, SCM, AWMS, PowerApps, Power Automate, Azure DevOps, Dataverse, Fabric, Test Automation and Power BI)
- Ability to consistently demonstrate sound judgment in decision making.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal positively with conflict.
- Efficient and effective time management and organizational skills.
- Experience facilitating cross functional meetings and driving consensus.
- Ability to travel 20%
