Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to assist with planning, coordinating, and administering general accounting activities for our organization. As a 355-bed acute care hospital, Frye Regional Medical Center provides a dynamic and rewarding work environment.

Essential Functions

• Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations
• Assist with projects, financial reporting, and audit requests
• Maintain fixed asset system and assist with annual Medicare cost report package

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or applicable field required

Minimum Work Experience

1-2 years of accounting experience preferred
