Resurrection has an opening for an Application Support Analyst in the Resurrection Experience division! The position is full-time, exempt and is located at the Leawood campus at 13720 Roe Ave. Please see below for a full job description.

Job Summary

The Application Support Analyst consults with departments and end users regarding their software needs; evaluates and recommends software solutions; manages and supports church management systems, other line-of-business applications, and trains end users.

Position-Specific

  • Consult with departments and end users regarding their software needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend software solutions to meet requirements while promoting standardized software and technology integration across the organization.
  • Implement, manage, maintain, and support church management systems.
  • Implement manage, maintain, and support other line-of-business applications including ERP systems, learning management systems, volunteer management systems, event registration systems, intranets, accounting systems, donor management systems, electronic contribution systems, point-of-sale systems, mass e-mail, websites and web applications, and any other similar applications.
  • Develop and deliver end user training for line-of-business applications.
  • Manage, test, and install line-of-business software updates.
  • Develop and write reports within church management system including SQL reports.
  • Troubleshoot issues as reported by users
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or actively pursuing degree completion, or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of experience implementing and supporting line-of-business software applications developed in-house or provided by outside vendors.
  • Knowledge of CRM or equivalent systems (such as church management systems).
  • Willingness to use personal vehicle to travel to worksites in the Kansas City area (mileage will be reimbursed).
  • Work Schedule: Schedule flexibility and telecommuting allowed with the approval of the Software Services Team Director. After hours software maintenance as scheduled. Work may be required on religious holidays including Christmas and Easter and other holidays that fall on a Saturday or Sunday. Preferred:
  • At least two years of current experience with relational database management systems, SQL, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of church management systems, donor management systems, ERP systems, learning management systems, intranets, accounting systems, electronic contribution systems, point-of-sale systems, and/or mass email systems.
  • Knowledge of application hosting technologies including domain name registration, SSL certificates, and DNS.
  • Knowledge of web services APIs, single sign-on, and other application integration technologies.
  • Knowledge of SQL, C# or other programming languages.
