BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA)
Salary Range from $74,006 - $80,870/year Sign-on Bonus $8k

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for providing behavioral analysis services to develop individualized behavior plans for individuals using the service. The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, provide training to staff, and monitor the progress of the individuals to ensure they achieve their goals. A key aspect of this role is the implementation of gentle teaching techniques to create a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals of all ages.
Essential Functions

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and skill-based assessments.
  • Develop, assist in implementing, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans that promote skill development while reducing challenging behaviors that hinder positive life experiences.
  • Use and integrate gentle teaching techniques into Behavior Support Plans to create a supportive and nurturing environment for clients.
  • Establish data collection processes and gather data on targeted behaviors.
  • Train staff, guardians, parents in the implementation of Behavior Support Plans.
  • Address crisis prevention and intervention needs.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with organizational policies, state requirements, and BCBA licensing requirements.
  • Participate in meetings for individuals with Behavior Support Plans to offer insight, identify needs, and commend improvements.
  • Regularly communicate with team members to assess progress and make adjustments to the Behavior Support Plan.

This is a full-time position. Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm but will require flexibility to work evenings and weekends in order to provide supports/training to those who work alternative shifts.
Required Education and Experience
Master's degree from an accredited program in behavioral analysis, education or psychology or related degree.
Currently Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and MO Behavioral Analyst licensure is in good standing
