Job Description
Title: Healthcare Planner
Salary: $80,000 – $130,000, depending on experience
Location: St. Louis, MO or Austin, TX area
Duration: Permanent
Ready to design the future of healthcare? We’re looking for a passionate and innovative Senior Medical Planner to lead exciting mid-to-large-scale healthcare projects in St. Louis. In this role, you’ll blend technical expertise with creative vision to shape cutting-edge healthcare environments—from patient care areas to operating rooms.
You’ll lead a dynamic team, collaborate with architects and consultants, and ensure every project meets the highest standards of quality and functionality. You’ll also mentor the next generation of designers and help establish best practices for healthcare planning.
What You’ll Do:
– Lead and mentor a team on healthcare design projects, from concept to completion.
– Communicate planning concepts clearly, both visually and verbally, to project teams and clients.
– Oversee technical development, quality control, and code compliance for medical spaces.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to create innovative and efficient healthcare environments.
– Manage project schedules, staffing, and resources in partnership with project managers.
What We’re Looking For:
– 5+ years of healthcare planning experience with expertise in spaces like radiology, operating rooms, and patient care areas.
– Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
– Knowledge of sustainable design principles (LEED a plus).
– A degree in Architecture or related field; licensure preferred but not required.
