Responsibilities:
As a Consulting FP&A Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Driving the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
2. Retaining constant awareness of the company’s financial position and acting to prevent problems.
3. Conducting detailed financial analysis to provide insights on the company's financial health and opportunities.
4. Developing, implementing, and maintaining financial models and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
5. Preparing detailed income statements and managing the company's annual budgeting process.
6. Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
7. Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
8. Collaborating with the executive team on long-term financial planning.
9. Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets.
10. Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting FP&A Manager role should possess the following:
1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in creating and managing dashboards, preparing income statements, managing annual budgets, and financial modeling.
3. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (such as CFA/CPA) is preferred.
4. Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
5. Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels.
6. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
7. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
8. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
9. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
10. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.
