Essential Duties and Functions:
- Prepare and process evidences of insurance and issue binders as necessary
- Maintain tasks in system for correspondence/requests
- Maintain future and agency expiration reports for book of business
- Review and process agency bill renewal policies, endorsements, and cancellations
- Remarket and quote the renewals of assigned accounts as required
- Prepare agency bill renewal offers and/or invoices on a timely basis
- Enter all required data into the system to maintain current file data on all assigned accounts in accordance with the current system requirements and procedures.
- Maintain log of lost business for tracking purposes
- Maintain a favorable relationship with clients, producers and referral contacts
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the various carriers' rating plans, programs, manuals and company drawers - as per the specific assignment of carriers
- Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of personal lines coverages and rating along with your license(s)
- Develop and maintain working relationship with various markets
- Assist clients in handling claims in accordance with claims procedures, details provided
- Answer and process all telephone, fax, or written requests for assigned accounts
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain Florida Insurance 2-20 License within first 6 months
- At least 1 year of service industry experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of personal lines coverages and markets
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
