They're seeking a dynamic Marketing Underwriter to manage Commercial P&C business in the Carolinas.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Property & Casualty accounts, specializing in General Liability, Auto, and Workers' Compensation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a limited broker assignment, primarily focusing on construction, manufacturing, and healthcare industries.
- Evaluate and underwrite new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with company underwriting guidelines and risk appetite.
- Work towards achieving new business goals, tailored to specific agency assignments.
- Travel approximately 25% of the time to meet with clients and agents/brokers.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting or business development within the insurance industry, preferably in Property & Casualty.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and coverages, particularly in General Liability, Auto, and Workers' Compensation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
