Responsibilities:
- Underwrite complex risks across construction, specialty, and energy sectors
- Evaluate submissions and determine appropriate pricing, terms, and conditions
- Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale brokers
- Mentor junior underwriters and support team's technical development
- Meet production goals while maintaining underwriting discipline
- Stay current with market trends and emerging risks
- Collaborate with claims, actuarial, and risk engineering teams
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of E&S casualty underwriting experience
- Strong technical understanding of GL, Auto, and Umbrella/Excess coverage forms
- Proven track record of profitable underwriting and production results
- Experience in construction, energy, or specialty casualty markets preferred
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of industry trends and emerging risks
